"I bought the TELESEND for a particular director on a 14 week drama shoot in Manchester.

When we work together, the director follows close behind me and my Steadicam and needs a high quality confidence monitor withour cables.

When I first tested the TELESEND at the camera rental company I was pleased with the result. This was inside an industrial unit. I was able to walk around in line of sight without any breakup.

On day one of shooting I offered the director the monitor, told him to remain in line of sight and we used it for the first 4 days. We were working in various interior and exterior locations. The quality of the image was very good and only broke up when he went out of range.

I then bought the Telesend and have since used it for the rest of the shoot. As such the TELESEND is perfect for directors following the action behind .

I also use the TELESEND as a stand alone reciever, connected to a much larger monitor at the media village. The limitation of the TELESEND in such instances is the range of 60-70m but this is reflected in the price.  The only system on the market that can provide greater range is the BOXX, but many productions are unwilling to pay the price.

When I turn up at a shoot, a lot are still using WEVIs, but when they have a problem I get out the TELESEND as it works better than the WEVI."
